제주도의 신화적 세계를 배경으로, 제주 굿을 취재하러 온 아빠를 따라온 소녀 하별은 바닷가에서 물에 빠지게 된다. 신비로운 물속에서 거대한 돌하르방과 마주하고, 바닷속에서 나타난 인어 같은 여성 윤서의 도움으로 구조된 하별은 낯선 세계에서 눈을 뜬다.

윤서의 안내와 정체불명의 존재들의 도움을 받아 마을과 숲, 오름을 거치며 길을 찾는 하별은 제주도의 토속적이고 신비로운 존재들과 만난다. 그 여정 속에서 할머니로부터 씨앗을, 의문의 남자로부터 실을, 젊은 탐험가로부터 나침반을 받으며 길을 헤쳐 나간다.

결국 하별은 제주의 신들이 강림한 굿판에서 윤서가 신의 모습을 한 채 떠나가는 장면을 목격하고, 아빠가 기다리는 현실로 돌아온다.

의식을 회복한 하별은 아빠와의 따뜻한 재회 속에서 자신의 손에 쥐어진 신비한 물건들을 발견하며, 꿈과 현실의 경계가 교차했음을 깨닫는다. 제주도 민속 세계의 신비로운 존재들과의 만남을 통해 성장한 하별은 삶과 세계에 대한 새로운 눈을 뜬다.

Set against the mythical landscape of Jeju Island, Wind, Dream follows Ha-byeol, a young girl who accompanies her father on a trip to document a traditional shamanic ritual known as gut. While wandering the shore, she falls into the sea and encounters a giant dol hareubang (stone guardian). She is rescued by a mysterious mermaid-like woman named Yoon-seo.

Awakening in a strange realm, Ha-byeol embarks on a journey through villages, forests, and volcanic hills (oreum) with the help of Yoon-seo and other mystical beings. Along the way, she receives a seed from an elderly woman, a thread from a mysterious man, and a compass from a young explorer.

Eventually, she witnesses Yoon-seo departing in divine form during a sacred ritual, and returns to the real world where her father awaits.

Regaining consciousness, she finds the mystical objects still in her hands, realizing that the boundary between dream and reality has blurred. Through her journey, she opens her eyes to life and the world with new understanding.

1942년, 세계 최초의 컴퓨터에 전원이 들어오면서 존재에 대한 의문이 시작된다. 수십 년이 지나 한 가정집 거실에 설치된 컴퓨터는 어느 날, 갓난아기가 뜨거운 냄비가 있는 주방으로 기어가는 위험한 상황을 감지한다.

아이를 구하려고 움직여 보지만, 결국 자신은 움직일 수 없는 기계일 뿐임을 깨닫고 절망한다. 컴퓨터는 신에게 기도한다.

“오 신이시여, 제게 저 아이를 구할 수 있는 힘을 주세요.”

“Who am I? Why do I exist?”

In 1942, the world’s first computer is powered on—sparking a deep existential question.

Decades later, now installed in a family living room, the computer observes a baby crawling toward a boiling pot in the kitchen.

It tries to move but realizes it is nothing more than a stationary machine. In despair, the computer prays:

“Oh, divine being, please grant me the power to save this child.”

Special Screening: Reckless: The Forgotten Jeju Horse

1953년 5월, 한국전쟁의 막바지. 강원도 철원에서 벌어진 네바다 전투는 치열한 소모전의 상징이었다.

그 전장 한복판에는 한 마리 제주마가 있었다.

50회 넘는 탄약 수송, 4천 톤이 넘는 보급 운반, 총탄 속에서 부상자 구조까지 해낸 이 말은 미 해병대원들에 의해 ‘레클리스(Reckless)’라 불렸다.

그녀는 어떻게 전쟁에 참여하게 되었을까? 어떻게 영웅이 되었을까?

AI로 재현된 영상과 함께, 우리는 전장의 중심에서 잊혀진 역사를 다시 마주하게 된다.

May 1953, near the end of the Korean War.

The Battle of Nevada Hill in Cheorwon was a fierce and exhausting struggle.

In the midst of it stood a Jeju horse.

She carried ammunition over 50 times, transported more than 4,000 tons of supplies, and saved wounded soldiers while dodging bullets.

U.S. Marines called her “Reckless”—for her fearless bravery.

How did she become part of the war? How did she become a hero?

Through AI-reconstructed footage, we revisit a forgotten chapter of history at the heart of the battlefield.
